Summer

Late nights spent in sultry Rome,
Distant from an ocean’s foam,
Counting down seconds until the next breeze,
That would certainly put the clammy body at ease.

Sheltering between sips and a peach,
And dreaming about an Hellenic beach,
While all to be seen are some pixels on screen,
Plenty to study and fresh caffeine.
