I hide my frailties behind buoyant grins and hysterical guffaws;
I enshroud my complexities beneath a gauzy sheet of airiness;
Toughness is a mask I wear with cognition,
Indifference is a lie I own with perturbation.
Nonetheless, everything erratically resurfaces and annihilates my walls:
I come across lumbersome situations that shatter my bones,
And I turn impuissant again, stifled by my flaws.
